Overview
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made with River’s Bridal. Please read them carefully before signing. By signing this document, you confirm that you understand and agree to all terms outlined below.
- General Terms
All sales are final. Once a dress has been ordered or purchased, no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted under any circumstances.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all order details — including designer, style, size, and colour — are correct before signing this agreement.
Dye lots, fabrics, and embellishments may vary slightly from samples and are outside the control of River’s Bridal. - Deposits and Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place an order for any gown or accessory. This deposit secures your item with the designer and confirms your commitment to purchase.
The remaining balance must be paid upon collection of the dress, unless a written payment plan has been agreed separately.
Payment may be made by card, cash or bank transfer. For customers on a payment plan, instalment details and due dates will be provided in writing.
No gown will be released until the full balance has been paid. - Cancellations and Refunds
In the event that your wedding or event is cancelled or postponed for any reason, all payments made to River’s Bridal are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or item.
This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to illness, change in personal circumstances, or relationship breakdown.
In the event of a government-mandated lockdown (such as Covid-19 or similar), the contract remains valid and any outstanding balance will still be due in full. - Weight Changes and Alterations
Bridal gowns are ordered in the closest standard size based on measurements taken at the time of ordering.
Dresses can typically be altered by up to two dress sizes. If a bride chooses to undergo weight-loss injections, medical treatments, or significant lifestyle changes after ordering, River’s Bridal cannot guarantee that the gown can be altered to fit.
By signing this agreement, the bride acknowledges that any such changes are made at their own risk, and River’s Bridal accepts no responsibility if the gown does not fit as a result.
Alterations are not included in the purchase price of the gown.
River’s Bridal works with independent seamstresses who operate in-store but as separate businesses.
Customers may choose to use these seamstresses for convenience, but all alteration fees are paid directly to the seamstress, and River’s Bridal accepts no liability for any alteration work carried out by them or any third party. - Sale or Sample Dresses
All sale or sample gowns are sold as seen.
These gowns may have been tried on in-store and may show minor wear or imperfections.
